So, me and my sister have been planning to go to Quiapo for weeks. According to her sources, there's this street that sells craft materials.Well,-- mostly beading materials,-- other stuff you can give as gifts, accessories, and other what-nots. I was so excited to go 'cause I've been holed inside our home for days and the prospect of going to a place with lots of accessories and cute things takes it up a couple of notches.
We went there Wednesday, thank God because Friday or Sunday would have been a nightmare for me, the crowd would have driven me insane! Said street is called Villabos, like a boss :p , right in front of Quiapo church. Although the street is wide, it is filled, left and right, with illegal vendors selling seafood, vegetables and kitchenwares that they block the entrance of the stores.
Wellmanson's
We went to this store my sis was talking about: Wellmanson's. I tell you, the place is HUGE!Like four rectangular rooms filled with shelves and shelves of everything from beads, beading supplies, reading and big nerdy glasses, jewelries, gift items and a number of unknown "dust catchers".
Oh boy, when I opened the door, I was like a little kid in a candy store! Also, it has a baggage counter, highly organised and its air conditioned so its easy and comfortable to shop there.
Its my new found accessory haven! Everything is sold much much cheaper than when you buy in malls. Scroll down to see what I mean.
Below are the items I bought:
First, rose earrings for P45.00
Next, Salamander ring. P42.00. I love this! And when you buy this in department stores it goes about P100+
Then, there's this snake bracelet that I really fell in love with the moment I laid eyes on. Its P88.00
Hair bands and hair elastics. I know you might think that these are pretty ordinary but I'm a sucker for these babies. My Mom always buys me some whenever she comes home from SG.

These babies I bought in the neighboring stores. They are cheaper than Wellmanson's but its much more difficult to shop here coz the places are really cramped compared to the spacious Wellmanson.

Well, there yo have it.I had an awesome time. I paid a little over P300 for all of this. And I plan to buy more in the future! Maybe i'll bring some of my friends next time.
