Easy shortbread cookies!

Hey ladies. Time to take a break from all that dieting and reward yourself with this pretty awesome and super easy to bake shortbread cookies. And it only has three ingredients that I'm sure you have in your kitchen right now!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1/2 cup white sugar or confectioner sugar
- 2 cups flour

Tools you will need:
- mixing bowl
- hand mixer or stand mixer
- measuring cups
- cookie tray
- rollng pin
- cookie cutter or cookie press so you dont have to roll the dough.
- wax paper or cookie sheet
- wire cooling rack

Step:
1. Preheat oven to 350*F or 180*C.
2. In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until white and fluffy. Use a stand mixer or a hand mixer for this. When that's done, mix in the flour. Keep mixing until it creates a dough. Tip: Dont freak out if its crumbly at first, just keep mixing or knead the dough.
3. In a flour-dusted even surface, roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thick with a rolling pin also dusted with flour. (I used confectioner sugar instead for extra sweetness) Cut with your favorite cookie cutter and carefully place in cookie tray covered with wax paper or cookie sheet. Best use a spatula in transfering the cookies.
4. Place inside oven and let it bake for 15-20 minutes.
5. When its done, the cookies will be slightly soft to the touch. Now, stop poking it! Let it cool for a few minutes before trasferring to a wire cooling rack.
6. Once its thoroughly cool, serve and watch it disappear!

Because this cookie is very sweet, I like to wash it down with milk.

You can also bake these cookies for the holidays, leave it beside by the fireplace for Santa to eat when he comes over to deliver gifts

That teardrop shaped cookie is the last dough.

With this recipe I already made two dozen cookies with 1 1/2 inch diameter cookie cutter.

Make sure to try this recipe! Happy baking!
