Hello, hello! Below is the nail art I did about a month ago, sadly i cannot make a step-by-step video tutorial 'cause I merely took a shot of the finished design. But I'm gonna list the steps I did in great detail. :) I hope that's enough.
Oops, sorry about the little black mess on my thumb. haha :)
Well, here we go:
- Always start with a base coat to protect your nails from staining.
- Once your base coat is dry, apply two coats of red regular polish all over your nails. Wait for about 2 to 3 minutes before applying the second coat.
- Take a white stripper polish or a stripper brush and white nail polish. Use that to draw a thin white line in the middle of your nail.
- Next, take a black stripper then draw a thin black line on either side of the white line. Make sure that the spaces between the lines are equal.
- With your dotting tool or toothpick make a white dot in the middle of the white line you draw earlier. Dot two more above and below the dot in the middle, make sure they have equal spaces.
- Get your dotting tool again, dip it in black polish and do the same step with the black lines on either side but this time, do not align them with the white dot. Put the black dot in line with the spaces of the white dots. That way you'll create a window effect.
- Now take a slightly smaller dotting tool, dip it in black polish then dot it over the WHITE dots.
- Then do the same with the black dots using a white polish over the black dots. In short, ALTERNATE the two colors.
- Leave it alone for a few minutes and once its ALMOST dry, seal it with your top coat to protect your design and this way, it will create a beautiful shine over your nails.
- And you're DONE! :)
Easy, right? All you'll need is a steady hand.
I hope that helped, and thanks for visiting my blog! :o)
