Why Wear Makeup?

Many of my friends do not wear make up. Their reasons range from "It's a waste of money" and "I don't know how". Its mostly the latter. Either of the two, you may have the same reason. Maybe more. Some people, especially men, think that it's not necessary for women to wear make up. They say that the natural beauty is always better. I say different.

Every woman, has to have even just the most basic of makeups as their arsenal for everyday life. Those make ups that's enough to emphasize the features of the face and  BRING OUT THE NATURAL BEAUTY that people don't normally see. Wearing make up is also a way to flatter the beautiful parts of your face. You may think you don't have one, but do me a favor and look in the mirror. Look really hard and I'm sure there is something there worth noticing! :) Also, I'd like to think that make up is my everyday armor. I heard this line from the anime Sauinkoku Monogatari,: "Whenever you wear make up, whatever happens, you cannot break down." So whatever life throws at you, if you wear make up, you must never break down and cry. At least, that works for me.

So try to invest even a little of your money to buying make up.There are a lot of quality drugstore make ups out there that's very affordable especially for college students. And if you don't know how, take time to learn. Besides, applying blush on and foundation can't be that hard, right??

So what are the most basic make up ever woman should have?

Oh, I almost forget, first of all, the only product that MEN and WOMEN should have is moisturizer.  Yes, whether you're a man or a woman, you MUST have this. Here in the Philippines you have many options for quality drugstore moisturizer, like Celeteque, Nivea, Human Nature, Garnier, Myra and so many more. You must find the formula that suits your skin type. You may have oily, dry or combination skin. There will always be a product out there for you, just make reading a habit.

So, back to make up. Here are the most basic:

• Face powder
• Mascara
• Blush
• Lipstick or Lip gloss

Its okay if you don't have an eyeliner and eyeshadows, a tube of mascara to lengthen and thicken your eye lashes is enough to do the trick. Face powder instead of foundations that tend to be heavy and cakey if not applied properly. A blush that suits your skin tone and brings a beautiful glow to your skin. And at least one tube of lipstick or lip gloss in your favorite color.

If you have those four basic make ups, you're good to go! :)
